Study Breaks

Just in case anyone needed some ideas of things to do other than studying during crunch and exam week, here are a few with which we experimented. Do so at your own risk...

Recommended:
watching cartoons til 1 am
going to dance parties until 2 am
taking naps on top of the computer desk in the lab
sending chatterbots to your friends (and enemies)

Not recommended:
dumpster-diving
getting fined for being too loud
attempting to dye your hair blue with kool-aid
playing hide-and-seek with your keys
cutting out paper snowflakes until you lose feeling in your fingers

Things I noticed while working at my college library

I don't know if these facts are true elsewhere, but I have noted them at the library here on campus. More are likely to come later, but in four months, here are a few observations:
1. Employees who are not on circulation talk to themselves fairly regularly. Out loud. Even when there are other people around.
2. Those same employees hold telephone conversations about things that are totally unrelated to work, almost so often that I have yet to figure out what they do at the library.
Slightly unrelated, but:
3. If my boss leaves early and asks me to answer her phone if it rings, it inevitably rings at least once.

That's all for now.

Question

What would you say if I dyed my hair?
