Sexual Encounters of the Floral Kind

He promised that we wouldn't look at flowers the same way after seeing this movie. He was right.
While at some level of unconsciousness I realized there exists a tremendous variety of flora, I could not have imagined the specimens we were introduced to on Wednesday. Water lilies that kill bees. Orchids that imitate female wasps. Some disgusting type of flower on some remote island that resembles rotting flesh.

And then there was the announcer, who must have had to practice saying his lines with a straight voice. He was given a wide variety of cliched and suggestive lines that served only to detract from the seriousness of the topic.

I think my favorite part was the time-speeded sequences of flowers blooming. That was cool. And the cute little mice and possums.

What class did you say this was? I guess even flowers have battles of the sexes. Sounds like you won't bored...If nothing else there will be great material for blogging.

The plant that smells like rotting flesh is meant to attract blowflies, not people.
The class is Sex, Gender, Culture and it is very interesting. You will hear more...:)
