Albright sticks

I apologize for once again being neglectful of my blogging duties, but papers, vacations, work, more papers, and life in general have been rather distracting, not too mention too boring to be worth mentioning. I did, however, learn an interesting piece of information about one of my professors this week -- Dr. Synder has an addiction to Word Whomp. We are so alike in some ways, it's scary. I'm going to ask her for a letter of recommendation, but I have to make sure I am going to pass the semester first. Actually, I was waiting until just after I received a good grade from her to ask, so maybe next week. The only other thing I can think to write about is the newest Albright tradition, the annual lighting of the tree. They planted a pine tree near the pond on Wednesday (perhaps one of the ones chopped down from around Science Hall?). The lighting ceremony was this afternoon, in the midst of a windstorm. I was, sadly, unable to attend because I was at work, but apparently they were giving out "Albright sticks". Question of the week: What is an Albright stick?
