Time Flies
Sometimes on a college campus, one can get so disconnected from the outside world that they forget what time of year it is. For example, on Friday (or was it Saturday?) at the grocery store, I was surprised to see people wearing weird outfits and face paint. And then I remembered it is almost Halloween. Still, that does not excuse the "blood" dripping from knives sticking out of people's chests. Little kids dressed up are cute, though. There weren't so many of those around here this weekend. Just strange college students wearing things that one doesn't expect to see...especially if one has forgotten about Halloween. The caf workers got all excited about the holiday this year. The lights were dimmed, there were worms in the salad bar, and people were fighting over handfuls of candy. That in itself was a bit scary. Personally I would be happy if they gave us the day off, or just stopped getting eggshells in the eggs.
And on a totally unrelated note, last week at Wawa, I saw a real life coroner, wearing a jacket that said "Coroner". Guess they like donuts, too.

I suspect if you go into your local public library today, you might see some people dressed in unusual outfits, or at the very least, some cute little kids. (Hopefully no bloody knives).
On an unrelated note, was the coronor there just for the donuts? Or had the Wawa food already killed a customer and the donuts were just an afterthought?
I didn't see any dead bodies...
However, I also did not purchase any food there. But the police are always at Wawa, so why not other members of crime teams?
